In Danny Goodman's "The Complete HyperCard 2.2 Handbook" he describes a way to store settings for the development environment in #HyperCard. Normally, these settings are not retained after shutting down HyperCard. The way this can be done is ingenious if a bit tortured. Let's improve on it.
