Tech Ambrosia is hosting another Cheap PC Challenge this year - #CheapPCChallenge2023.
I'm sorta entering the contest. There's no official category for this and maybe I'll get a dis-honorable mention for it. I'm going for the worst performing computer that can run the benchmarks. I hope I lose big time.
My entry is a Presario CQ56 laptop. Built for Windows 7. It has a speedy Intel Celeron CPU. That single core operates at a blazing 2.20 GHz. The display is powered by a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family.
Cost was $0 as it belonged to my father-in-law. Average selling price on eBay is $30 if that's any consolation. I tossed Windows 10 on it because I could. This thing is going into e-waste next year.
