Well what the heck, I played onstage with Eric Johnson at the Woodshed Guitar Experience 2023!!!! No big deal!!! Madness, right? Anyway, since then, I've been on a quest to add more of EJ's signature cascading pentatonic runs into my playing. To help you all master these legendary licks, I came up with this exercise to help you all master the 2 most essential EJ picking principals:
1: alternate picking even numbers of notes per string
2: the double downstroke dangler (AKA limited economy picking)
Practice these licks with the practice tracks from my Patreon page and you're sure to be ripping faster than ever in no time!!!
