In this new video essay, I explore the recent resurgence of the Epstein scandal and why it’s shaking the foundations of the MAGA cult from a psychoanalytic lens. Drawing on Freud and Lacan, I unpack how Trump functions as a fetish object and master signifier—why his followers remain loyal despite contradictions, and how the Epstein revelations threaten to collapse the entire symbolic structure holding their worldview together.
