So...yeah. This is part of the backstory between Ryder and Silver, more for when Ryder meets Silver though.

Okay...Story time!

Ryder is fighting an a war against furries, because in his world humans and furries have to compete for resources. Silver, a lab experiment and hybrid, accidentally walking into a battle field. Ryder tries to warn her, but she gets shot in the shoulder and badly wounded. Ryder gets her back to the medical tent where she sleeps for a while, worried Ryder watching over her. At the very end, she wakes up.
