Aviation is one of the most rewarding hobbies someone can enjoy. But it can also be one of the most intimidating. The days when a a young person could walk over to the local grass strip and wipe bugs off a plane in exchange for an airplane ride might be fading off the horizon but there are still ways through the fence into the world we all love.
Flight captivates us from a young age, and fortunately there are wonderful programs throughout the US that provide touch points for young people to engage with aviation.
On our last stops in Charlottesville and Danville Virginia we got to witness dozens of young people on lifelong paths to aviation.
