Feminine Futures is bringing together the voices of seven powerful women with a broad set of expertise — spiritual, psychological, ecological, and economic — to reassess progress from a feminine living-world perspective.

In this first episode you will hear from Helena Norberg-Hodge, founder of Local Futures, on the topic of 'Resisting Globally, Renewing Locally'. Questions are answered afterwards.

The global economy promotes a consumer rat-race based on competition, speed and fear. We are generally not aware of how advertising and the media has contributed to a loss of self-esteem, while robbing men and women alike of their feminine - their caring, loving side. I will talk about the confusing politics of today, including the rise of Donald J. Trump. Most importantly, we will explore the deep and lasting benefits that people are experiencing as they start to nurture connections to nature, to the local community, and ultimately to self – the cornerstones of real wellbeing. We will look at the worldwide localization movement that is unfolding, and discuss the rebuilding of localized economies and cultures from a feminine living-world perspective.
