Our good friend Shaun from 8BitGlitch79 flew in to hang out with us for the weekend and attend MoGameCon 2025! 🎮 We had an amazing time exploring the convention, meeting fellow retro gaming fans, and checking out all the awesome retro games, comics, and collectibles.

But the fun didn’t stop there! Shaun got to see the game room in person, experience his very first Buc-ee’s, and we even made a stop at the quirky Route 66 tourist trap, Uranus Fudge Factory. After the con, we spent more time together hitting up a mall, browsing a comic shop, and just enjoying the weekend before his flight home.

Shaun also surprised us with a big box of retro gaming goodies and comic book treasures, which we showcase with our trusty “closer upper” look. While the gifts were incredible, what meant the most was getting to spend quality time with a great friend we don’t get to see nearly enough. ❤️
