Epic Campervan Countertop for $40 or Less (Step by Step):
Step 1 - find some wood. I used some pine 2x10s that can be found at any local hardware store.
Step 2 - sand the wood. Start with 80 grit sand paper and do several passes until you reach 220 grit sand paper
Step 3 - Stain the wood. It's okay to shake the can before applying the stain
Step 4 - apply polyurethane to the wood once the stain has tried. DO NOT SHAKE THE CAN!! It will form bubbles in your finish. Gently stir the can before use. Apply 2 coats of poly to the countertop and make sure to sand the countertop with 220 grit sand paper in between coats once the first coat dries. Apply the second coat and you will be finished!
