I often feel like the rural midwest is one big open air museum. Some towns are hanging on, but some are slowly fading away. When the average citizen is 70+years old, who's going to take their place? Will the outdated mega-cities of the 20th century finally get bad enough for people to consider finding forgotten little towns like these in NW Iowa--and make a go at it? These are the kinds of questions that roll around my mind when exploring the back roads of America. Thanks for coming along.
