Have you ever wondered how different countries handle educating the next generation? It’s easy to forget that things are done differently in different countries and cultures. In this week’s episode, we discuss the differences between the German and American school systems. Do Americans really ride a yellow school bus to school, split up into cliques (jocks, cheerleaders, band nerds, etc.) and stay after school for hours on end for various school activities? Do Germans really get told whether or not they can go to university in the 5th grade, not have school sports and drink alcohol on school premises with their teachers?
