This series aims at sharing some of the behind-the-scenes work processes and ideas that go into piano covers on this channel. The primary goal of this content is to share some insight to individuals who want to make piano covers or arrangements, or individuals who are just curious about how music theory can be applied in practical settings. The secondary goal of this content is simply so that I can make deliberate efforts to track my own learning process, particularly when there are new learning moments that occur while making covers. Overall, hopefully something of value is taken away from this content, regardless of whether it is used educationally or as a source of entertainment.
Any feedback, especially feedback that is concrete, specific and/or actionable, is high appreciated. This is the first in the “Let’s Make Piano Covers!” series, and recommendations will help inform changes to future content. As always, thank you for helping me improve the content on this channel!
