Sin didn't just break a rule — it broke an order. In Part 2, we look closely at what happened in the Garden of Eden and why it matters for who you are right now. God created humanity to be Spirit-led — His Spirit governing the soul, the soul governing the body. But when Eve chose to trust her own reasoning over God's word, the soul exalted itself above the Spirit. That shift is the root of everything that has gone wrong in human history — and in our own hearts.
In this session we explore the two trees, the role of the heart as the inner decision-making center, and the difference between soul and spirit. We look at Enoch and Elijah — two men who walked so closely with God that death lost its grip — and we look at God's covenants from Adam through David, all pointing forward to the one promise that could finally fix the heart: "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you." Ezekiel 36:26
The fall is not the end of the story. It is the reason the story needed to continue.
