In the late '80s and early '90s, the Thomas America Corporation of East Brunswick, New Jersey, imported "reproduction" radios and sold them under the "Thomas Collector's Edition" badge. They were incredibly cheap, flimsy, and of poor quality--nothing at all like the radios of the '30s and '40s. The cassette player is terribly cheap, and seems to rattle the cassette causing the speed and pitch to wildly fluctuate, the speaker isn't even close to being considered "Hi-Fi," and the FM/AM tuner is incredibly poor.
