Environment Week celebrates our unique natural environment, wildlife, and heritage, highlighting the work each of us are doing every day to care for the environment and create thriving, liveable and sustainable cities.
As part of Sydney Water’s first Environment Week celebrating World Environment Day, we're excited to present our keynote speaker – co founder of Planet Ark Jon Dee in conversation with our very own Roch Cheroux.
Jon is an award-winning social entrepreneur, broadcaster, and campaigner. He was a co-founder of Planet Ark, National Tree Day and DoSomething; and founder of National Recycling Week, RecyclingNearYou, FoodWise, and Smarter Futures.
Awarded Australian of the Year NSW in 2010, Jon had a regular spot on Sky News ‘Smart Money’ as the business sustainability expert. More recently presenting on ABC radio covering environment and sustainability good news stories including the latest developments in circular economy, reuse and recycling breakthroughs, and renewable energy and energy savings.
