Raceface bars and Avid brake levers get installed
See how easy it is to change over your mechanical brake levers

In this episode of the Entry Level Mountain Bike Upgrade Series I'll be replacing the narrow handlebars that came stock on the bike with some much wider Raceface handlebars. I also remove those "all in one" controls and install Avid brake levers. This upgrade gets us setup for the full driver train upgrade that is slated for the next video in this series. In that video I'll be install a Box Components drive trail that I'm super stoked to test out! Let's jump into some mountain bike upgrades, learn about bike repair and do some well deserved mountain bike maintenance.
