What I found nestled deep and abandoned in the remote mountains, hidden from the eyes of modern civilization, is a passageway steeped in mystery and forgotten by history. An engineering marvel from a bygone era hidden in plain site.
Join us today as we explore this century-old, abandoned portal, uncovering the stories etched in its walls and the wonders of nature that have reclaimed it as we enter a passageway to another world. Exploring this old tunnel was an adventure to another time in itself.
I have explored many remains and old abandoned structures dating back to the homesteading era of the wild west and beyond. All of which offer unique experiences with something new learned everyday as well as admiration and awe.
However, this particular site belongs to the once magnificent Milwaukee Railroad It is tunnel #11 constructed in 1908. with this said the Ghosts the Milwaukee Railroad hold a special spot in my adventure destination discoveries.
History is slowly disappearing, and I am happy to provide possibly one last look at this great site.
(Long Live The Milwaukee Railroad!)
Thank you
