An Up Close performance reimagines the boundaries of a traditional concert experience, inviting a visionary artistic partner to create a new, cross-disciplinary experiment in collaboration with the adventurous Ensemble Connect. For this performance, the ensemble’s artistic partner was world-renowned conductor, music director, and 2025–2026 Carnegie Hall Perspectives artist Marin Alsop, who curated a program of new music and participated as a conductor.
This performance was filmed in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
