It turns out Skymar was Genu all along! You will barely do any damage to his ship, the Entity, even with Blue Laser. His "plasma ball" can destroy your ship in 1 hit.

Boss guide:
Since you barely deal some damage to the boss, Reflection Barrier is the key to reflect or defend yourself from some of his powerful attacks. His "plasma ball" will completely destroy you in 1 hit, but you can reflect it back to him by using Reflection Barrier, it will deal damage about 3% of his max armor/hp.
