It has been questioned recently by a few people ‘are jigs with the time or money’. The simple answer is that one setup properly they can save a lot of time if you are running multiples of the same part..
In the video 6 pens are engraved in about a minute so if I had an large order a jig would save a lot of time and I could even have a jig hold 20 or more pens
Are they worth the money well maybe it depend how much they cost and how much you will use it.. I make my own from acrylic sheet so the cost is low
Tip if using black acrylic as I have add some white marks to it so you can use these as alignment mounts with the red laser
