Ever heard of the "English Seaside" theme in LittleBigPlanet? Early in development for LBP1, a whole world was between The Gardens and The Savannah, but removed before LBP's release date. You can find a lot of footage of the theme in early promo videos, and its assets were scattered into the early Savannah levels (hence the many ocean themed stickers/decorations there). Weird thing is, most of the levels were nearly finished and most fully functional! The levels got leaked in the LBP DEPLOY Build, so here they all are!
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are multiple early and later versions of this levels, this video contains the latest versions I could find. I can upload the early versions and other miscellaneous things I found later if interested.
0:00 - The Port (england_seaside_main_port01.bin)
This level was the hardest to track down. This one is my favorite of the unused Seaside levels, a beach area that turns into an gathering of ships. Simple enjoyable platforming.
7:35 - Out at Sea (england_seaside_main_out_at_sea.bin)
You may have seen this level in some of the old LBP1 launch trailers. The beginning part sailing in a pirate ship is amazing (especially for LBP1 standards), no wonder they showed it off so much! But after that segment, the level falls off a bit.
13:28 - The Depths (england_seaside_main_the_depths.bin)
Ah, so THAT'S where the mysterious "water jetpack" was meant to be used. I like this one a lot, as I have always loved deep sea creatures. Yet as much as I love "My Patch", I don't think it matches the level very well.
18:13 - Pirate Ship Race (england_seaside_ml_ship_race.bin)
Despite being a minigame, this level looks the most complete to me. It's nothing special, just feels like The Port but as a race.
20:56 - Underwater Jetpack Score Challenge! (england_seaside_mg_jet_pack.bin)
This one is unfortunately broken. I would have to explore in create mode (which crashes A LOT) to either fix it or just see what's left.
21:54 - Tentacle (england_seaside_ml_tentacle.bin)
Unlike the other levels, I could find NOTHING about this online. Was it meant to be a race? A testing area for the tentacles from "The Depths"? Only MM knows...
These were all found in the LittleBigPlanet DEPLOY Build, and ported to Beacon and Bonsai servers.
