byte sized engineering | Engineer Dad Makes Star Wars Potty Training Toilet @bytesizedengineering | Uploaded February 2022 | Updated October 2024, 16 hours ago.
My toddler has been really apprehensive and hesitant to learn how to use the toilet. I mean I get it, life is really great when you can relieve yourself anytime you want and someone is always around to change your diaper. I know they make potty training toilets that look like cars or princess castles, but when you have an engineer Star Wars nerd dad like me, you end up with a potty training toilet that looks like the sarlacc pit that Boba Fett falls into in Star Wars Return of the Jedi. I've been loving the live action tv series The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett, and it's those series that inspired this build.

If you're like me you have creative ideas that are trapped inside your mind. Byte Sized Engineering videos will give you the knowledge, inspiration, and confidence to make your creative ideas a reality. You are more capable than you think, and I want to help you unleash your inner maker!
You shouldn’t need an engineering degree to make your ideas a reality. I suffered through years of engineering school so you don’t have to. I know how it feels to want to make something I’m excited and passionate about, but also feel overwhelmed by not knowing where to start. I’ve unlocked the secret to getting past this feeling of being stuck. In my videos I show you how to take complex problems and break them down into smaller, more manageable “byte sized” pieces.
