Recently I've felt that Contra for the NES wasn't getting enough VRC6 treatment, so I wanted to do this one in particular. It's rather short, but I like it. I may do some more Contra soon.

I really wanted to cover this song since its one of my favorites from Cave Story. Now this isnt terribly clever or special in any way, more of an attempt to get as close as I could to the original song, without the drum samples. Very careful and deliberate with the instruments to make them sound fairly close. Hope you enjoy anyway!")

Heres the theme for Bob-omb Battlefield, remade in the style of the classic Super Mario Bros. for the NES. I got this idea whilst playing SMB2/Lost Levels, at which point it popped into my brain.

Yeup, its a remake of Planet Popstar from Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards. I had originally started this a few weeks/a month ago, and completely restarted after being motivated by this video by Bulby, who remixes music to sound like the NES:

So I covered this initially in Game Gear/Master System style but honestly I like the sound of 2A03 much better so I copy-pasted the whole thing and converted it to FamiTracker and changed it a bit so that it actually sounded good and not like a poor conversion so here we are
