Energy bills for hundreds of thousands of households in Scotland are set to rise this winter, with the highest energy bills in three years. Today, the price cap for October to December was announced with a 4 per cent increase putting an average of 60 pounds a year onto energy bills. Charities are warning more people will struggle with the cost-of-living this winter and further help is needed.
