The University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Toghotthele Corporation teamed up to offer a workshop on energy efficient log cabin construction in May, 2013.
The 4-week workshop is taught by Robert Chambers, the internationally recognized authority for handcrafted log home construction, using green logs. Also, Richard Musick, a long-time Fairbanks log home builder and the owner of Ventilation Solutions, teaches the course.
CCHRC visited during the 3rd week of the workshop in Nenana, Alaska.
