It's been almost 6 years since I edited an AMV outside of an IC, but as the song goes, "nothing lasts forever".
I can proudly say that streak, unlike my Duolingo one, ends today.
Trying to flow 3 minutes of slice-of-life be like: 300 blurs 250 solids 200 flickers 150 shakes 100 flashes 50 Vegas crashes and too damn many contrast sliders later, here it is: My entry for Hotzone: A Slice of Life Contest.

My crush on Jun is unstoppable, and his quote is the key theme of this AMV, what made it come to life in my head and on screen. I wanted to make an AMV with this anime from the moment I first watched it, but the idea of basing it on their journey of realizing what was there all along (please watch THIS GREAT ANIME) came later. Tomo x Jun is the actual endgame, right up there with Chuck & Blair, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise!!!!!
No crying, weeping, sadness here, it's a ROM-COM story that you never thought you needed. I had so much fun editing this even though it took tremendous courage not to give up after a usual IC duration was exceeded. I screamed "it's perfect", I laughed, I dug for scenes day and night to find or make them just the way I imagined; I'm very glad I gave it as much time as I did, it wasn't a waste in my eyes, and I very-close-to-enjoyed every minute of it. What a one-of-a-kind editing experience!
I was very close to writing this description as a poem. But then not even the 5 people who read it would have read it sooo... Thanks to all of you who got this far. I hope you found what you were looking for in my words.
