Sauber joined F1 back in 1993. They have never had great success, and only have a single race win under the BMW Sauber name. The team has been through a tumultuous last decade and a half, having been dumped by BMW, run as an ailing privateer, bought by an investment firm, partnered with Alfa Romeo, then being dumped by Alfa Romeo.
But the now the team is set to begin a new chapter as the Audi Formula One team, bringing down the curtains on the Sauber name in Formula 1. This video takes a look back at nearly the entire history of the team, from it's beginnings in Sportcars, to the very last Sauber F1 car in 2025.
