Hello darlings :) I do something artsy every year for our Jonghyun, and this year I felt very drawn to singing one of his songs…
This one specifically, as it has been my lullaby on-and-off for two years.
I know my Korean pronunciation isn’t the greatest and I could probably sing nicer, but I didn’t do this to practice Korean, or singing.
I decided to cover this song because I truly believe that Jonghyun’s lyrics are poetry, and that sometimes people need a poem to say “you’re doing well, you’ve worked hard… it’s been a difficult day, and I’m here for you.”
I know that this day can be painful/wistful/sad/lonely and I just want you to know that I’m here for you guys, whatever you’re feeling.
Our Angel is always looking out for us and SHINee, and he is resting after working hard.
I love you guys…
