In this demo, Tobias presents a high speed zonal architecture where AURIX™ TC4x acts as the central brain—supervising up to 10 Gbit/s links while coordinating a 10Base T1S network for sensors and legacy domains.
The demonstration illustrates the transmission of camera video and other critical sensor data over a fault-tolerant zonal Ethernet network, using multiple automotive Ethernet products with up to 10 Gbit/s capabilities. In parallel, a 10Base-T1S network is enabled to cover lower-speed, legacy, or sensor domain needs.
The AURIX™ TC4x acts as the central brain, supervising the high-speed network and coordinating the 10 Mbit/s links that form the zonal edge. As this demo shows, our microcontrollers and Ethernet solutions are enabling the software-defined vehicles (SDV) of tomorrow.
