DFSKNDFSM Im here to so so proudly present Find Your Way, EmpowermentTeams 4th anniversary MEP. Honestly, at this time last year I didnt know if wed even make it to this milestone, because I had given up on this studio due to my own insecurities before some of my members convinced me to get up and try again ♥ Actually, we planned to remake our very first MEP for this anniversary, but with everything this studio has went through because of that, we decided to change it to Find Your Way with the theme of redemption. Why did we choose this? As one of my fellow leaders, Manu, said: Learning to forgive yourself and to forgive others is one of the most important things we could ever do. Even if we make mistakes, we are still good and lovable and important. I made the mistake of giving up on EmpTeam for nearly an entire year, but now, we are back and better than ever. And honestly? I couldnt be more proud. We as a studio have been through a lot in these past four years, and even if we tripped and fell along the way, we got up again and are now going strong again. Its here. Our Valentines Mashup!! Yes I know its 13 months late but well. Lets just pretend this was for White Day 2024 or something LOL This came about because back when we did the song vote way back in December 2022 all three of these songs were almost tied/within one vote of each other and everyone enjoyed the different themes/songs so we just went well, (delusionally) what if we just did all of them!! And thats how this chaos was born lol. You know how mashup MEPs used to like jam all the songs into one title.. I was thinking like oh what if I called this Victim of Stealing Your Heart on my Tiptoes and I thought it would be funny but then I realized thats way too long of a title so short title it is. Also it took me 17 tries to render this without my Sony Vegas crashing so if you see something being wonky or a part without disable resample, no you dont...... That being said, I deeply appreciate all the members who waited so patiently for this MEP to finally come out. Everyone did a wonderful job of using the colorscheme and all the parts are so cute! Im so grateful to everyone who participated, and a special thank you to the people who took multiple parts and backups and offered to help for months really, even some people that arent in the studio helped us out with this, so it meant a lot to me.
