Simpson Strong-Tie partnered with the ACE Mentor Program and the @CIEFoundation to inspire nearly 400 high school students during its October 2024 Trades Day events. Held in Stockton, California, Riverside, California, and McKinney, Texas, these events gave students hands-on experience in construction trades and introduced them to potential careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
Through tours of Simpson Strong-Tie’s labs and manufacturing facilities, product demonstrations, and employee career stories, students gained valuable insights into the opportunities available in the built environment. Together, Simpson Strong-Tie, ACE, and CIEF are helping shape the next generation of builders through education, mentorship, and scholarships.
