Country music legend Dolly Parton died Tuesday at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, her family announced. In honor of the icon, the tower lights on New York City’s Empire State Building turned to a pink sparkle Tuesday at 9:25 p.m. The dedicated 9:25 p.m. time is symbolic because one of Parton’s most notorious songs is titled “9 to 5”, written for the 1980 film, starring Parton alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. 🌆🩷
