After the viral clip of Emiru being grabbed and almost kissed by a fan at TwitchCon, she’s finally spoken out — and what she revealed about Twitch’s response is shocking.
In this video, we break down everything Emiru said in her livestream, from Twitch allegedly lying about apprehending the fan, to initially planning only a 30-day ban before changing it to a permanent one. She says Twitch staff nearby did nothing, and that it was her own bodyguard and manager who stepped in.
Even worse, Twitch reportedly didn’t even check on her afterward. This isn’t the first time TwitchCon security has failed, and it’s clear Emiru’s safety — and that of other creators — still isn’t being taken seriously.
