Emirates 777 business class has long been the poor cousin to its flagship A380 business class. Before they finally bit the bullet and started upgrading their 777's to the A380 style seats they took a small step to improve their 777 offering. Today I'm flying that small step!
Emirates took a small number of 777-200 aircraft and replaced their 2-3-2 business class with a 2-2-2 version. With one seat less across it should give everybody more room and a better flying experience. But does it?

This was an interesting flight which included a bit of drama, a restless night's sleep, lost equipment and one of the best crews I've had.

Many people fly Emirates to Australia and many Australian's fly Emirates to Europe and beyond. From most cities Emirates flies the A380 or their refurbished 777s. Sadly not from Adelaide. Flying Emirates from Adelaide currently means you're onboard the 777-200 which features the 2-2-2 business class. Eventually Emirates will fly the A350 to Adelaide. Personally I can't wait!
