Another concept logo is born.
in this timeline, Amazon MGM Studios revives the United Artists name as a label that specialises in Independent films with mid-range budgets.
The overall idea behind this was to develop a hybrid between the 1994 and 2001 logos, whilst also bringing it more in line with sister studio Metro Goldwyn Mayer. To achieve this, I took the glowing particle concept and the music from the 1994 logo, and attached that to a loose interpretation of the 2001 logo, this time in gold to pair it with MGM.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out in the end. I feel like I achieved my goals successfully, and created a compelling curtain-raiser that pays tribute to the original studio's legacy while painting a bright future.
