With millions of songs available at the tap of a screen, discovering new music may be easier than ever. For smaller and emerging artists, however, getting listeners to stop, pay attention and show up can still be a challenge.
British-American trio, Raynes, and Appalachian folk artist, David Wimbish & The Collection, are hoping to make those connections as they stop over in Missoula for their co-headlining tour on Sept. 18.
The musicians will perform at Monk’s Bar in downtown Missoula, bringing together two emerging acts that say supporting independent music can be as simple as giving an unfamiliar artist a chance.
