As the war in #Gaza continues, WHO has been ensuring lifesaving care by supporting the deployment of Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) to key hospitals in the north and south of #Gaza.

So far in 2024, WHO has facilitated the deployment of 37 EMTs were deployed across the Gaza Strip and achieved:

• Over 1.4 million consultations
• Close to 30 000 surgeries performed
• 56,500 patients with noncommunicable diseases treated
• 500 additional beds provided
• 6 field hospitals established
