After the U.S. and Israel launched a surprise attack on Iran, assassinating Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, his family and staff, as well as a girls' elementary school, Workers World Party convened an Emergency Meeting in New York City, inviting many allies to join in to form a United Front to defend Iran from imperialism and fight for a world in which all people's needs are met.
