Super Famicom port with the English fan translation patch by Translation Corporation.
A rare event where I've clipped a portion of a stream and used it for a video. If you want to see the full playthrough, you can find them on my channel or the links below. Had to split it into two parts due to YouTube's length limit of 12 hours.
Full Playthrough Part 1: youtube.com/watch?v=jBIMJeayPzc
Full Playthrough Part 2: youtube.com/watch?v=4FvkXZNUeEU
I ended up missing the "Omake Mode" by ending the stream early, so I added it into this one to make this video a little more unique. To access it, you have to defeat all five Bunny Sisters (in Ervad, Kildale, Hvovi, Virgil and Marguan), then you have to defeat Bunny Black at the Casino in the City of the Dead located inside Dadarwa Forest, southeast of Fuwal's shrine. Finally, you have to beat the game and idle on the MediaWorks logo at the very end for about 5 minutes, after which it automatically takes you to the easter egg.
After spending the last two weeks playing this game through four times, I finally figured out that Intelligence is indeed magic defense, it's just really confusing because magic has fixed damage and seemingly can't be reduced past 50% effectiveness. Overall a very useless stat.
Chapters:
00:00 Stats & Equipment Check
00:49 Party Conversation
01:00 Winding Path
01:33 The Confrontation
02:21 Final Battle
05:45 Evil's Presence

26:10 Omake Mode Introduction
26:30 Outtake - The Black Crystal

![Emerald Dragon [SFC | ENG Translated] Playthrough (Archive* [Part 1])
*NOTE: This is an unedited archive of a live no-commentary playthrough originally streamed on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bippoernesti), which means there may be deaths, restarts or intermissions/interruptions.
The stream had to be split into two parts due to YouTubes 12-hour limit. I tried to pick a spot where splitting it would make the parts about even in length without too severely interrupting an ongoing story situation.
Part 1: Youre here
Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FvkXZNUeEU
Emerald Dragon is an obscure RPG that was released on multiple systems, but never left Japan. Thankfully, the Super Famicom release has an English fan translation by Translation Corporation (hence the wacky intro). Much like Mystic Ark, I fell in love with the games music and I simply had to try it out. The Field Battle theme still blows me away to this day.
Its a great game if you have enough fortitude for the battle system. Enemy encounters are random, very frequent and can contain an enormous quantity of enemies. Combining this with the fact that you are only ever truly in control of one single character in your party of up-to-five members, theres a lot of just watching things play out, even if you have the ability to tell the AI-controlled characters to target specific opponents. Some random encounters can actually last longer than some boss fights, which is crazy. The random encounter around 2:19:15 is a good example, lasting over 5 minutes.
Emerald Dragon is one of those games I had waiting as a to-do game for years and years; I still have one stray part 1 from 2011 when I was planning to finally do a playthrough of it, which evidently didnt work out.
Stream title should be obvious if youre aware of the game. Live notification is was just something I wrote to keep it from being a generic live message, trying to imitate the all-too-familiar sound of missing every attack.
Added a basic thumbnail so its easier to tell part one apart from part another.

Stream Title: Dragon Change!
Live Notification: HAA! *ting* HAA! *ting* HAA! *ting*
Stream Description: A playthrough of the Super Famicom version of Emerald Dragon using an English translation patch. I dont have a clear estimate for the length, so I dont know if this will be a two-parter. Ill try to go through as much of the dialogue as I can, but I will definitely miss several chats, inn visits and NPC lines.
Considering the potential length of the stream (very likely well over 10 hours), I may take very short breaks.

*NOTE: This is an unedited archive of a live no-commentary playthrough originally streamed on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bippoernesti), which means there may be deaths, restarts or intermissions/interruptions.
105% playthrough (30 Relics [8 Platinum, 22 Gold], 45 Gems, 25 Crystals). Played on PS3s PS one Classics version, as its the only version Ive ever owned, only borrowing the physical version way back. Again, PAL version, so there are some changes. Theres a dumb bug (in at least the PAL version) that sets the music volume to 37% during the credits and doesnt put it back up afterwards.
Stream Date: 2021-03-27/28 (crossed over mid-stream)
Stream Title: Adventures of Crash the Bandicoot 3: Cortex and Plank Hire a Steampunk Disney Villain to Accost the Marsupial
Live Notification: Rotary rampages rousing return in stunning second sequel still starring slides & spins.
Stream Description: PAL version of Crash 3. Regional differences abound. I will not go for Platinum relics, but I am hoping to unlock at least Gold so I can get 105% completion. I havent prepared at all so this is going to be a long one. If it drags on too long Ill just concede defeat and go for 104%.
On a different note, I never really liked how they removed Cortex as the primary antagonist in this game. Bumbler though he may be, hes still infinitely more interesting than Uka Uka or N. Tropy.

Really wanted to play the Wii VC version, but something in the capture process made it stutter hardcore, to a point where it would have been unwatchable. I opted to do the Wii U VC release, but that turned out to be a mistake by itself.
I dont know if its my recently acquired third party Pro Controller, or if this version has notable input latency, or both, but it felt like I was playing a completely alien game. I kept fumbling consecutive jumps and wall kicks far more than I usually do, to a point where I could barely trust my movements by the endgame. Unsurprisingly, it took me about an hour longer to beat the game than on my last two streams.

Stream Title: Super MarchTen 64
Live Notification: Its-a me. Its-a always me.
Stream Description: Wii U Virtual Console version. 120 Stars, like always.
Originally intended to use the Wii VC one, but it was having this unbearable visual stutter.
Its been almost a year since I last played any version of this game. Figured I might as well do it today for the tenuous excuse of Mario Day. Super Mario 64 [Wii U VC] - 120 Star Playthrough (Archive*)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/lHlfBxlh2HE/mqdefault.jpg)
