I apologize for the 3 cut offs in this video. The run's integrity is still intact; I just needed to restart some times do to some factors.
On the first cut, that part is seriously difficult to pass by without touching a single ring. The whale doesn't seem so fast when you play normally, but if you slow down for a small bit, you'll see how it can catch up and ruin your progress. I had 127 lives when I started, and ended up with 67. I lost 60 lives on that part! It's that hard.
On the second cut-off, some strikes of bad luck just decided to hit me in the face. Notably, one time I was trying to jump over the rings at the rock structures and Sonic ended up not jumping.
The third cut-off was due to SADX's very glitchy nature. The most notable failure I had was when I jumped over the 3rd line of rings after the jump panels and the gates. When I landed, way far from them, the game decided to make me run backwards, making me turn a full 180º and collect the rings I avoided...
Nonetheless, these cuts are quite ignorable, and it's not even a bit important.

LSC INFO:
The rules for the LSC are to, basically, complete the level (score tally included) with the lowest amount of points possible. The earlier Sonic games don't give points for rings, but they do give the ring bonus, so in a way, rings are banned in both recent and classic Sonic games for the LSC.
DISCLAIMER:
In the 16-bit LSCs (like Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, etc.), I DO use tools such as savestates and slowdowns, but they are merely used to make sure the video is made smoothly without silly errors. More info on such tools at tasvideos.org except I don't use the tools to speedrun.
In the more recent games (Like SADX and Sonic Heroes), I DO use cheats, but they don't alter the challenge's spirit. One of them manipulates time to skip automatically to around 5 seconds before the 0 point bonus time, instead of me having to wait.
In SADX videos, if Tails isn't present, it's also a cheat, to make sure Tails doesn't accidentally get rings.
