Uceda called ‘The Lord Jesus Christ Teaches Us to Minister,’ I realized that the only way to truly find the peace and joy that I yearned for was through being the Savior’s hands to lift, serve, and love others. I set a goal to be a better everyday ‘minister’ for 30 days—keeping my head on a swivel for opportunities to connect with people, serve them, and be a purposeful friend. This experience reminded me that the happiest times of my life are those where I was most actively engaged serving other people. When I get down, that’s my sign that I need to reach out and lift someone else. These lessons have brought me a renewed sense of peace, joy, and purpose for my life.
