Eastwicks Paper and Ink - Katy Ingram | Embossing A Stencil Plus A Kaleidoscope Powder Technique # 1 | Maker Forte @eastwickspaperandink | Uploaded February 2022 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
Hello Friends, happy Saturday!
Today we are playing with Kaleidoscope Powders from Maker Forte.
Did you know that if you scan the QR code on the back of all Maker Forte packaging it will give you a link to different ways to use the product? Well the Kaleidoscope Powders have 30 different ways you can use them. In todays video I am showing you just one of those ways. If you would like me to do a series on as many ways to use the product, leave me a comment below.
In the video I also show you how to dry emboss your stencil and listed below is the sandwich I used for my die cutting machine. Please use my sandwich as a guide to get you started with your machine, remember all die cutting machines are different and my sandwich may be different than yours.
Sandwich to dry emboss your stencil:
- Multipurpose Platform
- I removed the number 2 tab on my platform
- place either a cutting plate or chrome base plate
- add your silicone mat (any silicone mat will do, I have even used the pink ones in the baking section at my local craft store)
- add your card stock
- add your stencil
- and finally add another cutting plate
- NOTE- Because I removed my number 2 tab I added a card stock shim to give the right amount of pressure. Remember to experiment with your machine.
