Elvis donates the USS Potomac yacht to Danny Thomas the founder of St. Jude Children Research Hospital on February 14, 1964 in Long Beach, California. Elvis purchased the yacht which was eventually sold for $75,000 after it was donated.

The Always Elvis Fan Club continues in the support of St. Jude by recently completing a donation in memory of Elvis Presley.
