Elvira Roquel, a first-generation high school graduate, represented all of the alums of our Partner Coalition programs at our 15th Anniversary Gala.
Elvira says her life was shaped by the education and mentorship programs of our Guatemalan partner @maiaimpact , funded by She’s the First; she’s now the first Indigenous girl from her community to study in the U.S. and dreams of becoming the ambassador of Guatemala.
