Fortunately, this takes 2AA batteries, so I’ll be able to try it on the transformer. It shares some tune arrangements, well nearly shares them with my other square wave doorbells. I massively prefer the arrangements on this one. Interestingly, the square wave sounds a bit like The Fisher-Price sparkling Symphony carousel which I’ve been fascinated by ever since I herd it but it only sounds like that in parts where as the sparkling symphony carousel does it the whole way through. I think this is caused when two square waves play the same note at once, for example when it is playing Minuet there is a slightly lower than G at the start that sounds like this. The dingdong and the Westminster chime also sound like it so maybe both channels are playing the same thing at once. I think there is probably also some aliasing in the square wave but maybe a lot of of this is caused by face relationships between similar frequencies, maybe some of it is in some of it isn’t I’m not sure.
