Have you ever had the chance to meet your childhood hero? Did they live up to your expectations, or did you leave the experience disappointed? For Wicked’s Elphaba, she not only faced disappointment, but also exile, when she discovered the dark truth about her idol. If you didn’t already know, The Wizard in Oz is bad news, and he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve to apprehend his would-be apprentice. The last time we saw these two, Elphaba unearthed some of the Wizard’s lies and took to the skies, where she hoped to fight for change in Oz.
