Hanson Robotics, a Hong Kong-based corporation, created Sophia, a humanoid robot, with the goal of developing a realistic and socially engaged artificial intelligence.She is regarded as one of the world's most sophisticated and human-like robots. Sophia's physical attributes are deliberately designed to emulate the features of a human woman. Her face is genuine, with expressive eyebrows, lips that move and emote authentically, and expressive eyes.
Her skin is made of special material that gives her a natural complexion and texture. What sets Sophia apart is her ability to utilize artificial intelligence to process natural language and respond to questions and comments. She can hold conversations with people and is programmed to understand context and emotions to some extent.
