A little personal story. I became a granddad and got to meet my two day young granddaughter Elodie. At first it didn't sink in that I was gonna be an old fart, but holding her new life in my arms, gave me an immediate sense of wanting to tell her stories, to whisper words of comfort and encouragement. I hope she will make a difference in this world. Seeing her made every mile, every minute (and even the plane food) worth the trip.
