We wanted to share this heartwarming holiday story with you about a Farmington, Connecticut girl who had her Christmas wish come true during a visit to her grandma’s house in Florida!

Today, 8-year-old Eliza Melman got to meet some of the recently rescued cold-stunned turtles from New England who are at The Florida Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center. With the support of classmates and the local community, this past year she’s raised more than $500 to support sea turtles at The Florida Aquarium and plans to continue to raise awareness in the year ahead.
