*Insert Yu-Gi-Oh reference here*
This footage is taken with mods involving graphics and music on (Although OBS doesn't really show things well).
From what I've seen online, there are multiple misconceptions about how this fight works (Admittedly, I also believed a handful of them for some time. A friend gave me a heads up on this strategy, in particular. And in the process of testing it out, we managed to study the fight in more detail). Hopefully after reading this, all will be clear.
To start with general rules, this fight has a decently long list to keep in mind in either versions of the game. And that is:
1.Not allowing party members in the party at all.
2.No nulling/repelling/draining of the move she will use the next turn including -karn spells (But counter passives are allowed). This means that you cannot use personas that null any sort of phys element. However, giving all the personas you are going to use actively High Counter is highly encouraged. Having your personas resist the attack she is going to throw at you is also highly encouraged (A pro tip here. Resist skill or affinities will stack with Resist equipment effects. Effectively giving you a reduction of damage by 75% with only those. That is why I'm using the resist magic weapon made from Telos and resist phys Armor of Light. Adding the Divine Pillar would also reduce that even further to 87.5% reduction.). Unshaken Will is also allowed.
3.She will follow a set pattern with the order of fire, ice, elec, wind, light, dark, ailments and almighty. She can use any of the 3 phys elements in any of these turns. You must also null her Almighty attacks using Infinity everytime since it does a flat 9,999 damage.
4.She will drain the element to whatever she used last time on the pattern. And adding to that, she will take 50% more damage to the opposite of the element she used (As an example, when she is on the fire part of the pattern, she will drain fire but will be more vulnerable to ice).
5.Her AI will heal immediately after you half her health the first time, but subsequently, she will only heal if you reduce her health to below 30% (She has 20K health for reference).
6.When she heals (Unless you hit the turn limit or made her heal with a High Counter repel on the second move of her turn), she will use Diarahan and the element she used last (As an example, if she used ice, you attack, and made her heal, she will use ice once again and will continue on the pattern).
7.You have a 100 turn limit to how long it will take to fight her. When she hits this 100 turn limit, she will try to end the fight with Megidolaon and Diarahan. You can technically survive for some time assuming you have a Plume of Dusk (You can obtain at least one in any difficulty, Armageddon request.), Endure, and Enduring soul.
8.You cannot spam Armageddon. It must be the finishing blow thanks to rule 5 (Although a very niche strategy *might* allow not having Armageddon as a requirement. But it's locked behind godawful RNG so it's not really feasible nor practical. Involves the thumbnail of this video, too).
Now that that's out of the way, the optimal strategy that's feasible to do and is not locked behind awful RNG (High Counter skip) is shown in this video. The personas shown at the end are possible to fuse within the confines of FES fusion. Essentially it's all about stacking all possible buffs and debuffs and coinciding your attack to her vulnerability (see rule 4). Fire and elec is the best element for this thanks to her set pattern. And coincidentally, the best damage the protag can possibly do without Armageddon in mind is the fusion spell Ardhanari when it is given Fire Boost and Fire Amp (At least, on FES). Parvati is used due to her being easier to give the needed passives. Adding to that, you must not use Ardhanari when you half her health for the first time (see rule 5) due to Parvati nulling ice. In this video, I had a Messiah with Ragnarok for such an event. But you could also half her life with a High Counter repel or Thunder Reign. Elec is one of the best elements to use for even more damage per round of her pattern thanks to her using Light right next to Wind due to being less likely to need to dodge Mahamaon. Unless you got lucky with the High Counter skip, you should be seeing her heal once after halving her health once and you can use Armageddon on the second round of halving her health (see rule 5). With resource management throughout the fight and not being too greedy with stacking buffs, you should be able to beat her fairly easily. Will take many preparations and patience, however. Fun fact, she has lines for making her heal twice. But thanks to the 100 turn limit, it is quite hard to see this line and beat her (Since you effectively need to do around 35,000 damage then use Armageddon in order to do that).
All personas and equipment used is shown at the end of the video. And proof that it is, indeed, on hard mode.
